Man found unconscious at Jumla Airport dies

JUMLA, Dec 2: A young man from Kailali who was found unconscious at the Jumla Airport has died. According to Karnali police, the young man who was found unconscious died during treatment.

JUMLA, Dec 2: A young man from Kailali who was found unconscious at the Jumla Airport has died. According to Karnali police, the young man who was found unconscious died during treatment.


At around 10:30 AM on Friday, Ram Prasad joshi, aged 28/29 years old, from Tikapur of Kailali, was found unconscious inside the Jumla Airport located in Chandannath Municipality-1, Jumla.

Joshi, who was found unconscious, was taken to the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Jumla for treatment. Police Inspector Dharmaraj Joshi of the District Police Office, Jumla, said that Joshi was declared dead during treatment by the doctors.


He said, “It appears that he had been drinking. It can be seen from the medical report that his blood sugar had declined, and his body temperature was high.”


He said that Joshi had come to visit Jumla., adding that Joshi's relatives have been informed about the incident. A post-mortem is yet to be carried out. A team of seven people under the command of a police inspector has been deployed at the place for further investigation.
