An armed group abducted Puja Kumar Sah, 8, of Nakati Rayapur VDC-6 of the district at around 9 pm.[break]
The family source said that a gang of three/four persons kidnapped the girl while she was playing in front of her house.
Similarly, Basudev Ram, 20, of Banauli VDC-1 of the district was also abducted last night. The family source said that Ram was returning home after his classes at Jagadamba Technical Institute, Rajbiraj.
The family members said that the abductors have asked for Rs 500,000 ransom by making phone calls from cell phones.
