According to Inspector of Police, Jiwaraj Budhathoki, the motorbike (Bhe 3 Pa 8971) skidded off the Nachnekhola River Bridge at Maintada and plunged 25 meters down as it was heading towards Surkhet from Jajarkot.
CPN-Maoist District Co-Incharge, JB pun, and local residents rescued Thapa on the spot. Thapa Magar is receiving medical treatment in Nepaljung, who has sustained injury on his head, hands and spine.
