GORKHA, August 14: A person was beaten to death in Palungtar, ward 5, Dharampani, on Saturday night.

Police informed Republica that a man died during a fight that took place while he was returning home after participating in Ropai Jatra in Thantipokhari. According to Kedar Khanal, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Gorkha, the deceased has been identified as Budhi BK, a local from Gorkha.
The injured was taken to Amppipal Hospital at night and the hospital declared him dead. The police have arrested three people on the suspicion of being in the incident. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
