LAHAN, July 25: A man who had fled after killing his elder brother with a khukuri in Golbazar, Siraha, has been arrested by police.
According to the District Police Office (DPO), Siraha, Shyam Sada, who had fled the scene and was attempting to escape to India, was arrested from Jamuwa canal area in Aurahi Rural Municipality-3, near the Nepal-India border on Friday afternoon.
He was arrested by a police team deployed under the command of Inspector Govinda Sah from the Area Police Office, Golbazar, and is currently under investigation, the DPO said.

The incident occurred in Musaharnia Purandih, Golbazar Municipality-3, where Motiram Sada, 35, also known as Lelaha, was fatally attacked by his younger brother, Shyam Sada, 25, with a khukuri.
The attack took place during a domestic dispute between Shyam and his approximately 19-year-old wife, Kaushilya Devi Sada. As Motiram intervened to stop the altercation, Shyam attacked him with a khukuri, police reported.
Motiram sustained a serious chest injury and was rushed to Ram Kumar Uma Prasad Provincial Hospital in Lahan, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
