KATHMANDU, March 5: Chasing the 185-run target set by Nepal, the Netherlands have lost their both openers. Kushal Malla proved instrumental in breaking the formidable 83-run partnership of the Dutch openers.


Malla, entering the bowling attack in the ninth over, made an immediate impact by dismissing Max O'Dowd for 22 runs with the very first ball of his over.

Similarly, another opener, Michael Levitt, who completed his half-century on the fifth ball of the over, was also dismissed for 54 runs.


The Netherlands' opener batsman Levitt achieved his half-century in just 26 balls.


He reached the milestone with the help of 3 sixes and 6 fours, showcasing an impressive display of his half century.                                                                                   


The Netherlands are playing at 133 runs at the loss of 2 wickets by the end of 14.6 overs.
