Malika and Dipendra reach mixed doubles final

KATHMANDU, June 23: Malika Rana and Dipendra Pariyar advanced to the final in the mixed doubles category of the first Athlete in Action (AIA) open tennis tournament being held at the APF headquarters, Halchowk.



Malika and Dipendra defeated Shriyams Karki and Nabina Gurung pair 6-1,6-1 to book place in the final. They will now play against Lindsay Sulivan and Jack Sai, who earlier defeated Renu Bajracharya and Surya Bhushan Bajracharya in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.



Sanu Gurung, Manoj Shah, Kamal Thapa and Rajin Chhetri advanced to the semi-finals in veterans 35 years above category.
