With its main campus in Malaysia, the university has over 30,000 students from more than 150 countries of Africa, Europe, UK and Asia. It is considered to be one of the top arts and design schools in Asia and is ranked highly among Asian universities in the QS Rankings.
During his acceptance speech at the ceremony, Chaudhary had mentioned that the reason for his interest in the educational sector of Nepal was to bring world-class education to the domestic students of the country.
“As Nepal has the highest youth migration seeking education and employment abroad, the financial and mental stress and agony that the families of these migrants go through is unthinkable. If a similar level of education could be provided locally, I’m confident that a change in the attitude of youths could be brought about to be more Job Creators than Job Seekers,” said he.
He also quoted that it’s the wisdom and knowledge that you instil in the next generation, is what will make all the difference in making a strong and successful nation.
