UML all set for its Mechi-Mahakali campaign

Kathmandu, March 2: The main opposition CPN-UML has completed all preparations for its Mechi-Mahakali national campaign that kicks off from Kakarvitta in the east on March 4.

KATHMANDU, March 2: The main opposition CPN-UML has completed all preparations for its Mechi-Mahakali national campaign that kicks off from Kakarvitta in the east on March 4. 



Implementation of the constitution, election, prosperity, self-pride, national unity and social harmony are the major themes of the campaign. Party Chair KP Sharma Oli and senior leaders will be joining the event that will end on March 18 in Surkhet via Kanchanpur in the far west. 



The local party committees have completed all necessary arrangement for the part of the event in their respective area, Party secretary Yogesh Bhattarai said. 



The campaign will see mass meetings being held in 33 different locations and through them the party is expecting to reach to a live audience of around 5 million people. Ten thousand volunteers have been mobilized for the campaign, according to secretary Bhattarai. RSS
