BIRATNAGAR, Dec 19: The CPN-UML, having completed its Mid-hill Highway campaign, is now gearing up for the Postal Highway campaign. The announcement was made by CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel during a press conference held in Biratnagar on Tuesday.
In the press conference organized by CPN-UML Morang, he said, “The mid-hill highway was unprecedentedly successful, we are excited about it. Now, the party will decide to conduct a postal highway focused campaign. However, Pokharel did not provide a specific date of the postal highway campaign.

The CPN-UML conducted a campaign focusing on the mid-hill highway from Jhulalghat in Baitadi to Chiwabhanjyang in Panchthar from last November 3 to December 17. The UML is holding a meeting in Kathmandu on December 21 and conducting a thorough review of the recently-concluded campaign.
UML General Secretary Pokharel said that the Jhulaghat-Chiwa Bhanjyang journey was a success. Stating that there was an unprecedented craze for CPN-UML and party chairman KP Sharma Oli during the journey, he said, “The impact of the campaign exceeded initial expectations.”
