The three-day program was jointly inaugurated on Friday by President of Shivata Love Foundation, Ragini Upadhyay and Abhishek Dubey from Cultural Department of Indian Embassy in Nepal.

According to a press statement released by Shivata Love Foundation, the event aimed at showcasing inner talent through the art workshop and promoting Awadhi art, which still needs awareness and promotion in comparison to Mithila art. Talking at the event, Ragini shared, "We established the foundation to give life to my daughter, Shivata's dream, who taught us love and left us at early age of 20. And the foundation has been helping girls to gain education through various scholarships provided by the foundation."

The artworks created by the artist and the students in the workshop will be exhibited on the occasion of Woman’s Day at Nepal Art Council.
