A pleasant dream helps you wake up in a good mood, while a bad one has the capacity to crush your hopes. So make sure you make your good dreams come true.
Many of us spend half of our lives searching for things that actually make us happy. But only a few dare to explore the unexplored field for the sake of their dream.
Essential tests
There are lots of inspirational and motivational videos all over the internet. Those videos tell you to quit the job, take yoga and meditation classes, attend seminars and workshops. We tend to feel motivated and happy after watching such videos. But it doesn’t work in reality.
People need jobs for various reasons. While some may work purely out of passion, others might be in need of money. So, many end up working mostly to fulfill their basic needs although the job may or may not be helpful for their future. But the experience garnered in any field will most certainly be helpful.
One might start with some odd jobs, but that won’t limit the growth. Before joining the movie industry, Brad Pitt used to work as a limo driver escorting strippers to parties. Even MS Dhoni, former captain of the Indian cricket team, used to be a railway ticket collector before he started playing in the national team.
It is easy to read and see motivational stuff on career change, but following your dreams is harder. I remember a saying by Abdul Kalam, ‘Love your job but don’t love your company, because you may not know when your company stops loving you’. But, what if we don’t enjoy and love the job which we are doing? Then, simply switch jobs and follow the path which drives you. Explore your dreams and go for it.
