Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office Spokesperson Rajendra Prasad Bhatta said that the DAO has issued a prohibitory order in the Maitighar area since November 20, and the agitating parties have been removed from the Maitighar area. The protestors in Maitighar had been protesting for a long time by installing tents on the right of the service lane going to Thapathali at Maitighar.

This was affecting the traffic on that lane.
