According to the organizer, land worth Rs. 10.5 and cash Rs. 10 million has been collected during the religious function.
Arun Sumargi, chairman of Mahayagya main organizing committee, said the collected money will go to Jyoti Primary School and Om Elderly Home. Two new buildings will be constructed each for the school and elderly home, he said.
He informed this during the concluding ceremony here yesterday. On the occasion, Chief District Officer of Makwanpur Rudra Prasad Poudel said such function facilitates social transformation and helps maintain social harmony.
