With the win, Mahabir moved up to the fourth position in the points table with seven points from four matches. Ram Kumar Kumal opened the scoring for Mahabir in the 24th minute and Nabin Subedi doubled the advantage in the 41st minute. [break]
Bhuwan Basnet scored a consolation goal for Chyasal in the 77th minute. Chyasal, which has lost all the four matches it has played, lied at the bottom.
Meanwhile, Laligurans Pulchowk Sports Club sealed its first victory in the league defeating Kathmandu Club 2-0 at the Armed Police Force (APF) ground, Halchowk. Pulchowk, the club with the biggest sponsorship deal in B division, had lost all its previous three matches in the league.
Shakti Rai and Bikash Rai scored a goal each for Pulchowk on Wednesday. Shakti scored the first goal in the 20th minute and Bikash added the second in the 89th minute. With the win, Pulchowk has three points from four matches and lies in the 12th position.
