DAMAULI (TANAHUN), May 25: Authorities have identified three people who died in a jeep accident that occurred at the Madi River bridge, which connects Wards 3 and 4 of Byas Municipality along the Prithvi Highway in Tanahun on Friday night.
According to Inspector Raju Adhikari of the District Police Office, Tanahun, the deceased have been identified as Prabin Thapa Magar, 35, Kumar Thapa, 22, and Kushal Thapa, aged between 20 and 22—all residents of Patan in Ward 5 of Byas Municipality.

The accident also injured two individuals: Rohit Gupta, 25, the jeep driver from Byas-4, and Dhiraj Rauniyar, 20, a resident of Birgunj currently living in Damauli. Authorities have referred Dhiraj to Pokhara for further treatment.
Nepal Police and the Nepali Army carried out the rescue operation.
