JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 12: Bharat Prasad Sah has been elected as the leader of CPN (Maoist Centre) Madhesh Province Parliamentary Party (PP). In the election held this morning, he defeated another candidate, Yuvraj Bhattarai.

It is said that despite maximum efforts for consensus, Sah got four votes and Bhattarai got three votes. There are nine members in the Madhesh province assembly from the Maoist Centre. Two of them are under suspension.
