Vice Chancellor of Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences Shah dies at 69

JANAKPURDHAM, June 8: Vice Chancellor of Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences Dr Ram Kewal Shah has passed away. Shah, who was admitted to Narayana Hospital in Gurgaon, NCR, India, died this morning at the age of 69.

JANAKPURDHAM, June 8: Vice Chancellor of Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences Dr Ram Kewal Shah has passed away. Shah, who was admitted to Narayana Hospital in Gurgaon, NCR, India, died this morning at the age of 69.


He was admitted to Narayana Hospital in Gurgaon, NCR, India, after his health condition worsened due to liver disease. He died during treatment.

According to family sources, efforts are being made to bring his body to Janakpurdham, his hometown. His body will be brought to Janakpurdham for cremation by tomorrow.


Professor Dr Shah, who taught in Nepal Medical College for a long time, was appointed as Vice Chancellor of the institution after his retirement. 


Prior to that, Dr Shah, an expert in bone and joint care, served with the government for a few years.
