KATHMANDU, June 5: Chief minister (CM) of Madhesh Province, Saroj Kumar Yadav, is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence in the province assembly today, Wednesday, for a fifth time.
After losing support from the CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Center), and CPN (Unified Socialist), CM Yadav is once again seeking a vote of confidence.

A provincial assembly meeting at 3 PM today will determine his fate. Yadav needs 54 votes in the 107-member assembly. With 41 votes from Janata Samajbadi Party and Nepali Congress, he still requires 13 more.
The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, with eight seats, and several smaller parties are yet to declare their support.
