Madhav Nepal can’t be accepted even if he acknowledges his mistakes and self-criticizes: Oli

KATHMANDU, July 14: Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli has maintained that senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal cannot be accepted in the party even if he acknowledges his mistakes and self-criticizes for the same.

Oli also accused Nepal of leading opposition parties to overthrow the government of his own party.

“Our own reactionary element [Madhav Kumar Nepal] within our own party led the opposition to overthrow the government led by the CPN-UML. There is no place for him in the party now,” Oli said.

“There is no place for Madhav Nepal but other leaders who joined him in toppling the government can return to the party if they acknowledge their mistakes and self-criticize,” Oli further said.
