Made in Nepal expo in Sept

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) -- a representative body of young Nepali entrepreneurs -- is organizing the fourth edition of Made in Nepal Products and Service Exhibition 2012 in the capital in the first week of September.



The event is scheduled to be organized at Bhrikuti Mandap exhibition hall from September 6-9. The expo is being organized to promote locally manufactured products in the domestic market.[break]



According to the organizers, the four-day event, which is being organized with the slogan “Aafno Bhaneko Aaphnai Ho” (Our Product is Really Our Own), is aimed at encouraging Nepalis to buy local products.



Anoj Kumar Shrestha, exhibition coordinator, told the press that the event was aimed at increasing consumption of local products among Nepali consumers.

Exhibitors at the event will represent Nepali small and cottage industry, large industries, film industry, music industry and handicraft industry.

More than 150 exhibitors from across the country are participating in the event.
