Lumbini World Peace Forum holds candlelight vigil for fallen Nepali nationals in Israel

KATHMANDU,  Oct 11: The Lumbini World Peace Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global harmony and peace, gathered on the evening of October 9 at Maitighar, Kathmandu to pay tribute to the Nepali nationals who tragically lost their lives in recent attacks by Hamas militants near Gaza, Israel.

KATHMANDU,  Oct 11: The Lumbini World Peace Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global harmony and peace, gathered on the evening of October 9 at Maitighar, Kathmandu to pay tribute to the Nepali nationals who tragically lost their lives in recent attacks by Hamas militants near Gaza, Israel.


The candlelight vigil served as a poignant display of solidarity, uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds in remembrance of those whose lives were cut short by this devastating event. It stands as a powerful symbol of the enduring spirit of unity and peace, transcending boundaries of religion and culture.

"We stand together today, not as separate nations, but as one global community, bound by our shared commitment to peace," stated a representative of the Lumbini World Peace Forum. "Through this vigil, we aim not only to remember and honor those we have lost, but also to reaffirm our unyielding dedication to a world free from violence and conflict."


The event was attended by a diverse crowd, including members of the diplomatic community, religious leaders, representatives from various NGOs, and concerned citizens. Many lit candles and laid flowers to honor the memory of the departed souls.
