KATHMANDU, August 23: The Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Kul Prasad KC has won a vote of confidence.
Despite the obstruction posed by the lawmakers belonging to the main opposition party, CPN-UML, at the Provincial Assembly meeting, Chief Minister KC took a vote of confidence on Monday.
No lawmakers of the Province Assembly voted against CM KC while one lawmaker stayed neutral. Only 43 lawmakers were present in the voting.
There are a total of 80 members in the Province Assembly. Chief Minister KC needed 41 votes to secure majority votes.
