LTTE talks team made public

JANAKPUR, Feb 18: Liberation Tiger of Tarai Eelam (LTTE), a little-known armed group operating in Tarai, on Wednesday made public its four-member talks team to hold dialogue with the government.



The talks team addressed a press conference on Wednesday after the talks team coordinator Ram Lochan Thakur was released from jail on Tuesday. Thakur a.k.a. Swamiji was arrested a year ago from Janakpur and was serving jail term in Siraha jail.



Two of the team members had appeared in public two days ago in Lahan, Siraha district. They include Sanjay Kumar Thakur a.k.a. Arjun, Amar Nath Tyagi a.k.a. Sudha Ram Garedi and Dinesh Yadav a.k.a. Bishal.



Among them, Dinesh Yadav is still in prison. Team coordinator Thakur said they would hold first round of dialogue with the government after his release.



The team will hold first round of dialogue with the government in Janakpur.
