LRI defeated Dream Land by 63 runs while Birendra Sainik beat Rajan Memorial by 78 runs.
Batting first, LRI scored 100 runs losing their four wickets in the limited 20 overs while Dream Land were all out for 37 runs in 11.1 overs.
Likewise, Birendra Sainik put up 124 runs losing their nine wickets in limited 20 overs. In reply, Rajan Memorial were all out for 46 runs in 17.2 overs.
Golfers selected for SAG
KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Nepal Golf Association named four golfers to participate in the upcoming 11th South Asian Games on Tuesday.
The qualified golfers are Rupak Acharya, Tashi Ghale , Tashi Tsering and Bishnu Sharma. The players have been selected following a three-day competition of stroke play. The top four golfers in the competition have been selected for the SAG scheduled to be held in Dhaka from January 29 to February 9.
Rupak topped the qualification chart with 228 stroke while Tashi Ghale stood second as he took 233 stroke. Likewise, Tsering remained in the third position with 240 stroke while Bishnu with 242 stroke qualified as the fourth golfer to the SAG.
Altogether 18 golfers took part in the selection tournament.
