BHAKTAPUR, June 4: The 200 missing answer-sheets of Grade 12 Compulsory English exam have been found.
Kiran Kumar Gautam, a bus driver from Koteshwar, had found the answer sheets. He said he found the papers at Gairigaun on Tuesday.
The Higher Secondary Education Board had on Wednesday announced a cash reward of Rs. 10,000 to anyone returning the answer sheets after finding them.
Earlier, HSEB said the examination 200 answer sheets of class 12 Compulsory English the Board send for checking have been lost.
The answer sheets were lost on the way while teacher Dadhiram Panthi was carrying the answer sheets on his motorcycle. It is said the answer sheets were lost on the way while taking them from the Board´s office at Sanothimi to Chabahil. Panthi teaches at Pashupati Multiple Campus, Chabahil.
Panthi asked for permission to take the answer sheets to his home as he was not feeling well and wanted to mark the answer sheets at home. Accordingly, he was taking the answer sheets home on his motorcycle. But somehow the answer sheets dropped on the way and Panthi was not aware that the answer sheets had dropped on the way.
