DAILEKH, Feb 2: The Lohore-Bestada road section at Bhagawatimai rural municipality in Dailekh district under the Mid-Hill Highway has been closed for a week for technical reason.
The road section has been shut down as the expansion is underway since Saturday. The cliff along the road section needs to be blasted off for expansion, according to project office's chief engineer Narayan Prasad Neure.
He shared that the 250-metre cliff where the hard rock lies will also be exploded as well. Due to the closure of the road section, traffic movements in few places of Jajarkot will be affected. Even the vehicular movements between Bhagawatimai rural municipality in Dailekh and Surkhet will also be affected. The closure of the road section will continue till February 6.
