KATHMANDU, April 30: A woman has been killed due to the collision of a truck (Na 7 Kha 9233) in Lamki, Kailali.

According to the Area Police Office, Motipur, the deceased has been identified as Sunita Rawal, a student of Bahumukhi Campus.

She was hit by a truck while returning from the campus on Tuesday. Irate locals started protesting after the incident on the road.

The protestors are demanding the action against perpetrators and the compensation for the deceased’s family.

Demonstrators have also taken control of the truck and destroyed it. The situation in Lamki area is stressful.
