KHOTANG, Jan 22: Locals of four VDCs in the district have continued their agitation showing dissatisfaction over the report of the Local level Restructuring Commission.

As part of the protest, the locals installed black flags in community schools. Locals of Bijaykharka, Rajapani, Buipa and Nunthala have protested as the village unit service centre was fixed at Lamidanda instead of Mahuregadhi.

The protest committee coordinator Uday Bahadur Karki shared that they have installed the black flags in community schools of these VDCs without affecting the teaching learning activities.

Locals have obstructed the vehicular movement along the Upper Sagarmatha and mid-hilly highway for two months. RSS
