KAKARVITTA, Sept 8: Freedom fighter and litterateur Dan Khaling was cremated at Singhamari, Darjeeling, India on Wednesday.
Khaling, who lived majority of his life working in Nepal, had passed away in Darjeeling on Monday.
His body was kept at the St Columbus Church for some hours in the morning for those wishing to pay him last respects.
Among those paying tributes to late Khaling was Chief of the Darjeeling Territorial Administration and Chair of Gorkha Janamukti Morcha Bimal Gurung. RSS
