Ivanhoe won the U-10 boys’ singles title thrashing Abhaya Guachan 4-1 in the final while Aslesha won the U-12 girls’ singles title beating Rabina Gurung 6-1 in the tournament organized by the Man-Jayakar Tennis Academy.
Similarly, Sachee Gurung thrashed Janvi Nahata 4-0 to win the U-10 girls’ singles title. Aslesha also entered the final of the U-14 girls’ singles defeating Anushka Joshi 6-2, 6-2 and will now face Mina Gurung who edged Pabitra Gurung 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.
Likewise, Niraj Wagle, Achal Thapa, Diwakar Ojha and Prajjwal Kayastha entered the U-14 boys’ singles semifinals. Wagle saw off Ayush Khatri 6-2, 6-2, Thapa defeated Milan Rokka 6-4, 6-2, Ojha thrashed Ananda Gautam 6-3, 6-1 and Kayastha beat Sandesh Singh Rathour 6-1, 7-5.
Meanwhile, Sonam Funchuk entered the U-16 boys’ singles final defeating Niraj Wagle 6-1, 6-2.
