Twenty-five years old Kalpana Kunwar died on the spot after being hit by lightning strike at her house.
Maina Kunwar, Kalpana´s sister-in-law, has been severely injured in the incident. She has been taken to the Manipal Teaching Hospital for treatment.
They were struck by thunderbolt when they were cleaning utensils outside their home at 8:30 pm on Sunday, according to police. Three goats were also killed by the lightning.
Passenger injured after falling off bus
Meanwhile, Ram Datta Subedi of Majhphant VDC-1 was seriously injured after he fell from a passenger bus going towards Dimuwa from Kusma Bazaar this afternoon. He is undergoing treatment at the Parbat District Hospital.
