Light snowfall predicted in high hill and Himalayan areas of Province 1 and Gandaki province

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: There is a partial influence of westerly winds in the country at present. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is partial to normal rain in the hilly areas of Province 1 and Bagmati Province in the morning.

This afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of Province-1 and Gandaki Province, and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Province-1 and Gandaki Province.

Similarly, tonight the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of Province-1 and partly cloudy to clear in the rest of the areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Province-1.
