KATHMANDU, Oct 30: There is a possibility of light snowfall in the high hills and mountainous areas of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently a partial influence of western winds in Nepal.

The MFD officials have said that the weather is generally clear in the hilly parts of the country and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

It is said that the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country, including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy. Similarly, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of the country.

The weather will be partly cloudy and generally clear across the country tonight. The officials of the MFD have also requested everyone to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas.
