Licenses of 13 passive cooperatives scrapped

PATHARI (Morang), July 18: The Division Cooperative Office, Morang has scrapped licenses of a dozen passive cooperatives.

PATHARI (Morang), July 18: The Division Cooperative Office, Morang has scrapped licenses of a dozen passive cooperatives. 


Their licenses were annulled in the end of last fiscal year, Office Chief Gopi Prasad Ghimire said.

Of the cooperatives getting their licenses scrapped, many are based in the rural villages. The Office had announced licenses of 31 cooperatives invalid previous year.


As per the Office data, currently there are 1,073 cooperatives are operational in the district. RSS
