LG is one of the first companies to launch promotional scheme for FIFA World Cup 2010. CG Electronics has launched ´LG Ko Saathma World Cup Haatma´ scheme to promote LG TV sets. [break]
“We brought the new scheme by tying up with the FIFA World Cup as there is immense possibility of selling more LCDs during the football jamboree,” said Kusum Lama Yonjan, marketing executive of LG Electronics.
“We are encouraged to launch this grand scheme for the FIFA World Cup 2010 as our customers are interested and eager about different promotional packages that we have been bringing.”
The company has offered sure shot prizes with the purchase of LCD and CRT sets of different sizes. Customers can win free LG wrist watches with leather belt as sure shot prize on the purchase of 14 inch and 15 inch sets. It is also providing LG DVD player, LG printed T-shirt and football as sure shot prizes.
Apart from the sure shot prizes, consumers will also receive coupons through which they will be eligible for lucky draw to win 32” LG LCD TV. In addition, LG is also offering a replica of World Cup trophy made of 5 Tola (1 Tola =11.664 grams) gold.
The campaign was launched about a month ago and will last till the end of FIFA World Cup 2010 at South Africa.
