In the men´s event, Bhumi Rai of Nepal Police came in the second spot finishing the race in 15 minutes 21 seconds while army man Jeet Bahadur Dhami finished a second later to finish third.
In women´s section, Kanchhi clocked 18 minutes 10 seconds while her teammate Krishneshwari Sintakala bagged the second prize a minute and 12 seconds behind. Chhaya Khatri of Nepal Police finished in 20 minutes 18 seconds to claim the third position.
The winners in both categories received cash prizes of Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang handed over the prizes.
The race was organized by the Madan Bhandari Sports Academy.
