UCPN (Maoist) leader Narayankaji Shrestha, who attended the meeting, said UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UDMF will hold separate meetings today to narrow down their differences on the issue.
The meeting also discussed about bringing the protesting alliances each led by CPN-Maoist and Madhesi People’s Rights Forum Nepal to the election process. The HLPC has agreed to hold separate talks with the dissenting groups for the purpose on Saturday after completing homework for the talks today. Sources say the HLPC wants to settles contentious issues related to the new CA elections before NC President Sushil Koirala embarks on a formal visit to India in a few days´ time.
