KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Leader Ghanshyam Bhusal has joined CPN (Unifed Socialist), a break-away faction of the CPN-UML. The party’s spokesperson Jaganath Khatiwada confirmed during a program on Friday that Bhusal has joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).
Earlier, Bhusal had sent a proposal to CPN (Unified Socialist) for the reorganization, transformation and integration of the Nepali Communist Movement.

Stating that the policies, ideas, principles and approach embraced by the party match with Bhusal's proposal, the CPN (Unified Socialist) had requested him to join the party.
CPN-UML's former deputy general secretary Bhusal quit the CPN–UML after he was denied a ticket in the November 20 election. Bhusal, who contested the election as an independent candidate for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Rupandehi-1, was defeated in the election.
It is said that the Police Headquarters can make appropriate arrangements to monitor Lamichhane's activities and record his mobile number or communication details for the purpose of effective compliance of the court orders.
