KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Lawmaker Komal Oli voiced her concerns about failure to arrest Ram Bahadur Bamjan, a self-declared hermit, charged with rape and disappearance cases.
Bamjan has been accused of committing violence against women, and raping his disciples and disappearing them.

Speaking at the zero hour at today's meeting of the National Assembly, Oli drew the attention of the government to launch investigations and arrest Bamjan at the earliest.
Likewise, lawmaker Udaya Sharma Poudel also called the attention of the government towards problems facing passengers due to the government's pick up and drop campaign under which bus stations have been removed from some areas of the Kathmandu Valley like Bhrikutimandap and Lainchaur.
Chakra Prasad Snehi demanded that the government should provide relief and compensation at the earliest to the families whose shops were burnt down in a fire in Dadeldhura district. Property worth more than Rs 15 million were destroyed in the incident.
