The task was disrupted due to landslides following the incessant rainfall at different places including Tatopani, Tipeni, Liping Bazaar, Kauledobhan, Barhabise and Helambu, said Red Cross, Sindhupalchowk, President, Rajendra Man Talchabhandel. The Nepal Red Cross Society had been distributing the relief materials in the district.
Helambu, Gunsa, Baruwa, among other villages still lack relief materials. The relief materials would be distributed in the remaining VDCs soon after the resumption of transport service, it is learnt.
The Red Cross has been distributing the relief materials under the coordination of WFP for the fast one month. RSS
