KALIKOT, June 30 : The Karnali Highway has been obstructed due to a landslide triggered by continuous rainfall.
According to the District Police Office, Kalikot, a landslide carrying large boulders occurred at Gagane Khola overnight, blocking the highway.

Police said the road has remained closed since 6 AM. Efforts are underway to clear the debris using heavy machinery and deployed personnel, the Road Division Office in Jumla confirmed.
With rainfall continuing, travelers have been urged to assess road conditions before setting out for their journey. The obstruction has halted both cargo and passenger vehicles heading from Jumla toward Surkhet and Nepalgunj.
