MAKWANPUR, Aug 25: Traffic along the Kanti Highway has been obstructed due to a landslide at Bhattedanda, the bordering area of Lalitpur and Makawanpur districts.

Vehicular movement is obstructed there due to the landslide triggered by continuous rainfall for the past few days. The District Police Office, Makawanpur, said that they are facing difficulties in clearing the debris due to the continuous rain.

Spokesperson for the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Tek Bahadur Karki said that preparations are ongoing to resume vehicular movement by this afternoon after clearing the landslide debris, if weather improves. 

However, Karki said that traffic along the Tribhuvan Highway, East-West Highway and Bhimphedi-Kulekhani road section is undisrupted in the district.
