LAMJUNG, March 30: Lamjung District Community Hospital located at Besishahar municipality-8 under Gandaki state has no intensive care unit. The hospital has been referring the patients requiring intensive care and treatment to different places including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan.

Hospital's administrative chief Hemant Shrestha said they have been referring three to four patients to different hospitals equipped with ICU and other sophisticated facilities. T

hough ICU facility was a must at the hospital, initiatives have not been taken from any side for the same. Availability of ICU facility is critical at a time when there are possible risks of COVID-19 pandemic.
