Lalitpur Red Bull League kicks off

KATHMANDU, March 25 : Lalitpur District Red Bull League kicked off on Tuesday at the ANFA Technical Center, Chysal.

Jhamsikhel Youth Society edged past Chibahal Youth Club 3-1 in the opening match. Ashish Tamang netted twice for the winning team and another goal was added by Rajesh Khadgi.

Prabin Karki pulled one back for Jhamsikhel. In another fixture, Nakhipot Youth Club eased past Setipakha Youth Club 3-0. Om Gurung scored twice for the winning team and Pratik Tamang added another.

The winner and the runner-up of the tournament will be given Rs 40,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively along with trophies, medals and certificates. Earlier, ANFA acting President Lalit Krishna Shrestha inaugurated the tournament.
