KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Saras Beverages, a part of Thailand's Khaitan Group and renowned for its Red Bull energy drink, has inaugurated its own factory in Amrapuri, Nawalpur, Nepal. This marks the fourth global factory for the immensely popular energy drink. The factory commenced operations on the 5th of December, Nawalpur, with the grand opening graced by Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat.
Finance Minister Dr Mahat extended congratulations to Saras Beverages for initiating Red Bull production from its local factory and expressed optimism for the venture's success. Minister Dr Mahat also emphasized the government's dedication to fostering private sector trust amid evolving economic landscapes.

Speaking at the inauguration, Saravoot Yoovidhya, CEO of Red Bull Thailand TCP, conveyed delight in reintroducing Red Bull to Nepali consumers, underscoring its worldwide preference. CEO Pawan Jagetia of Saras Beverages reaffirmed the commitment to German technology-driven production, ensuring top-notch quality and prioritizing local employment opportunities.
The much-anticipated 250 ml Yellow Red Bull will be available at Rs 110 per can in the initial stage, with extensive distribution networks established throughout Nepal. To add excitement to the event, renowned Nepali musical group Kutumba, dance ensemble Wild Reparge, and Kiran Nepali's "Folktronics" contributed to the evening's festivities.
