La Trobe Business School, Australia delegates visit Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: In response to the students’ demand from Nepal La Trobe Business School (LBS), La Trobe University (LTU), Australia has introduced a fresh intake for its undergraduate business courses in November, in addition to the two Semesters in February and July.

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: In response to the students’ demand from Nepal La Trobe Business School (LBS), La Trobe University (LTU), Australia has introduced a fresh intake for its undergraduate business courses in November, in addition to the two Semesters in February and July.


According to the press statement released by the university, a senior delegation led by Professor Paul Mather, head of LBS, LTU, Australia, visited Kathmandu on Sunday.

The press statement quoted Prof Mather as saying, “La Trobe University’s steady endeavor to connect with key countries in our region and to keep generating better opportunities for Students has brought La Trobe Business School back to Nepal. Our new undergraduate intake, new programs and scholarships should help Students from Nepal to reap significant benefits from the expertise and brand new cutting edge facilities at La Trobe Business School.”


The statement further read that LTB is offering 15 percent, 20 percent and 25 percent scholarships on the tuition fee for undergraduate as well as postgraduate international students. These scholarships are merit based and will be offered to students based on their prior academic performance. These scholarships will be offered to students on a first come first serve basis.
