KU shutdown crosses 2 weeks

BANEPA, Dec 4: Padlocking of the central office of Kathmandu University at Bakhundol, Dhulikhel-7, has disrupted classes for two weeks now.



The university´s Student Welfare Council padlocked the office blaming the administration of non-cooperation in holding sports week.



“Though the council had been holding the sports week in the past, we were told that this time that the three student unions would hold it. Therefore, we padlocked the office from November 21,” said Pawan Thapa, vice-president of the council.
