KATHMANDU: The Korean Language Test under the Employment Permit System (EPS) for the year 2019 will be held on June 9-10.
Issuing a press note on Tuesday, Foreign Employment Department, EPS, Korea said the candidates can fill out forms online from March 22 to 31.
Kathmandu and Pokhara have been chosen as the exam centers. The candidates have to choose either one of centers for examination. According to the notice, only 12,000 candidates can fill out forms for Pokhara exam centers. It is be selected on first come, first served basis.
Over 35,000 take Korean language test on day one
The forms can be filled out through the website www.eoers.epsnepal.gov.np . The list of qualified candidates will be published on June 2.
Korea to take 10,050 workers for 2019
Korea has increased the number of quotas for Nepali workers this year. Korea is taking 10, 050 Nepali workers for the year 2019.
Last year, Korea government had selected 8,000 Nepali workers under the EPS. A total of 7050 will be taken for productive sector whereas 3,000 will be taken for agriculture and husbandry sector.
