Addressing a training programme organised by the GP Koirala Study Centre in the capital on Wenesday, Koirala said that it was necessary to give an outlet to the country through the democratic process as the country is in crisis now. [break]
Stating that democracy would never be a failure, he said new generation should adopt and follow the sacrifice and ideals of the late Girija Prasad Koirala in democratic movement of Nepal.
The NC President stressed that political parties should be responsible to take the country towards economic prosperity and should implement the decisions made by them after the promulgation of constitution.
On the occasion, leader Mahesh Acharya said that NC should adopt maximum flexibility to ensure the participation of the dissenting parties in election.
He said it was the need of the hour to hold CA election in the participation of all parties to address the aspirations of all the people.
Likewise, leader Sujata Koirala recalled the six-decade long struggle done by Girija Prasad Koirala in course of political evolution of the country, and added that new generation should be made active in nation building by organizing them.
Similarly, NC Kathmandu District President, Bhimsen Das Pradhan, expressed the view that CA election would be held on the stipulated date to institutionalize federal democratic system.
